Step-free access to the homethey’ve always lived in.
For many families, the front steps are the first barrier to independence, a small thing that becomes enormous when a wheelchair or walker is involved. The PATHWAY ramp system solves this quickly, durably, and without the cost of a full renovation.

Damian came early, stayed all day, and did a great job installing our ramp. It was not a straightforward install but he put the time in to make it solid, safe, and we are very satisfied with the end result. Would recommend him and his company to others who are in need of an access ramp.

Accessibility requirements depend on how a property is used. A private home used only as a residence is generally outside ADA Title III, but public-facing uses can be covered. Other housing rules, building codes and permit requirements may still apply.
Our team starts with your mobility needs and the site layout, then works with the appropriate professionals to identify the requirements for your project. Read the Department of Justice guidance on ADA Title III.
The PATHWAY modular ramp system uses durable aluminum construction and can combine ramps, landings and turns to suit different entrances. The right configuration depends on the available space, elevation change, mobility equipment and requirements for the property.

The same walkway and entry steps before and after a ramp was added.

The same raised door track before and after a portable threshold ramp was placed across it.
PATHWAY warranty coverage is subject to the manufacturer’s terms and exclusions. Ask us to review the applicable warranty for your selected system.
Ramps, stairs, landings, and platforms can all be combined. We build to your specific entrance, not a one-size-fits-all template.
Slip-resistant does not mean slip-proof. Follow the manufacturer’s use and care guidance, especially when the surface is wet.
We confirm the schedule after assessment. On-site assembly is separate from ordering, site preparation and any required approvals.
Durable aluminum does not rot like wood. Follow the manufacturer’s care and safety instructions to keep the ramp and its walking surface in good condition.
Resell it If you no longer need your aluminum ramp, you can easily sell it.
We’ll recommend the right product after a home assessment. But here’s what we install most frequently.
Thrive for Life can introduce HFS Home Improvement Loans as a financing option. Availability, approval and terms depend on the lender and your application.

Actual rates, terms, and payments will vary based on your final loan amount and credit profile.
Slope, length, turning radius, landing size, handrail height these all vary based on your home’s specific layout and the mobility needs of the person using the ramp. We don’t measure twice and cut once. We assess first, then design.
Our occupational therapists will visit your home, measure your entrance, and recommend the exact configuration that works before any materials are ordered.

Titan ramps are a durable solution to more permanent and heavy-duty modification needs. This highly customizable ramp can be configured to meet your specific site needs and are easy to install and even relocate when necessary. Titan ramps come with slip-resistant tread, making the surface safe for both walking and for wheelchairs.
Titan ramp systems are heavier-duty than other ramps, so they’re effective in an environment that sees a lot of traffic. Landings and platforms are designed for a load of 100 pounds per square foot and a concentrated static vertical load of 300 pounds.
When you only need a little lift.
Threshold ramps can modify nearly any doorway to make all your spaces more accessible. There are multiple ramp styles and sizes available, in a variety of heights, materials, and walking surfaces. Working with our accessibility specialists, they will help you determine your unique needs to reduce the risk of tripping or to assist a wheelchair user in moving through doorways.
Damian loaned us a Garaventa Stair Trac to try out, and also brought over another wheelchair dolly to try as an alternative to installing a stair lift. There’s no substitute for actually trying something instead of watching a video online and my sister and I were able to make an informed choice about how to help Dad get in and out of the house safely. Damian is a gem, and Thrive for Life is a fantastic resource for helping elders stay at home safely for as long as possible. Thank you, Damian!

Damian came promptly to consult with me during a most stressful time when my spouse was in the hospital and I needed to make bathroom modifications to make it accessible. Damian gave me invaluable information and advice on how to best achieve this. He is very professional and most importantly, compassionate and sensitive to my needs. He was also patient and responsive to my questions and concerns.

Ms. Cath recommended a bath trolley for my brother who has cerebral palsy. He cannot stand/sit on his own and used to take a bath at the bathroom floor. It is super helpful not only to my brother but also for his workers who carry him everyday going to the bathroom.
Ms. Cath is really amazing providing ideas and equipments that can work well for my brother. Thank you so much Ms. Cath

Damian and his company Thrive for Life were amazing to work with. From start to finish, Damian and his whole team were extremely responsive, prompt and attentive towards our needs. What’s great about Damian is that he communicates well with us ( the client ) and bridges the gap between the home owner , architect and contractor. Damian collaborated well with our architect and contractor to bring our vision to reality. Of all the other home lift providers in town, Damian was the most courteous, respectful of our time and responsive. Not only that, it was the best priced home lift in Hawaii!
From ordering to installation, Damian helped with the shipping, delivery and installed the lift promptly. Him and his crew did the installation quick and efficiently, and did not leave a mess which left our contractor happy! Most subs leave a mess of the job site, but not Damian and Thrive for life!
Even after installation, we had a minor issue with our lift due to someone untrained using it. Damian was extremely quick to respond and guide us through shutting it down properly to ensure there was no damage to the lift. He was great from the beginning ( before payment ) , and even better after installation ( post payment).
Damian and Thrive for life are of the highest caliber professionals that are a dream to work with. I would highly recommend Thrive for life for all of your accessibility needs!

At first look, it appeared a ramp would not be possible. The two hour job turned into a 7 hour job. It turned out AMAZING!!. Fit like a glove! We feel so lucky and fortunate to have this durable, weatherproof ramp that will last for years to come!! Outstanding professionalism throughout the job. I can not praise this company enough!!

I really appreciate Thrive for Life and their assistance when I recently became disabled. There were some issues with the installation but Thrive for Life stayed on top of the situation and those issues were successfully resolved.

We worked with Cat to design an accessible bathroom for an elder. Cat is extremely helpful at conceptualizing not only how accessibility needs to meet the current moment but also what to think about for the future in the likely case of a decline in a person’s physical mobility. She is very thoughtful in how she communicates with clients and she meets people where they are at – especially because it is an emotional process in terms of accepting one’s own physical limitations and the need for change in the home environment to support that. She thinks of everything including the angle of the mirror on the wall, the type of tile to use on the floor, the specific location of grab bars, and every other minute detail that would otherwise be lost in our design. She has provided valuable input for our project. I only wish there were more companies like this around because this is such a great need right now for differently abled folks and elders in our communities.

Aluminum is a durable, low-maintenance option that does not rot like wood. PATHWAY systems use slip-resistant surfaces, but no ramp is maintenance-free or slip-proof. Follow the manufacturer’s care and safety instructions, and ask our team which surface and layout suit your entrance and mobility equipment.
Yes. We understand that sometimes accessibility needs are temporary (such as during recovery from surgery). We offer flexible rental options for our aluminum modular ramps so you only pay for the time you need it.
On-site assembly is only one part of the timeline. Assessment, layout planning, equipment availability, any site preparation and required approvals can affect when a ramp is ready to use. Our team will confirm a project-specific schedule after reviewing your entrance and access needs.
