The Stiltz Trio

Stiltz Trio Alta is the new, spacious and luxurious wheelchair-accessible homelift designed to carry a full-sized wheelchair or three people. The combination of style and luxury has been perfectly balanced and the homelift has clear sides which enables it to blend seamlessly into your home and to make it even less intrusive the rails are cleverly and discreetly recessed behind the slightly wider entrance/exit.

The Stiltz Trio Thru Car allows users to enter and exit from both sides of the car. This is made possible by the unique Stiltz dual rail technology. There is no other wheelchair homelift of this kind on the market that is capable of different entry and exit points on different floors.

Half Height Light Curtain: An obstruction sensor is situated at the entrance of our lift. If this barrier is crossed at any time, the lift will immediately stop.
Safety Lid Cover: This crucial feature covers the aperture in the floor when the lift is in the downstairs position. It is strong enough to stand on, and you can place your original flooring on top to blend in.
Key Switch Operation: This feature allows the owner to lock out the lift if the need arises. This is commonly used when going away on holiday or when the grandchildren are around.
Top & Bottom Safety Pans: Using our obstruction sensors, a Stiltz lift can detect objects above or below the lift, causing it to immediately stop.
Hold-To-Run Controls: Operating a Stiltz Lift requires constant pressure to the controls. This allows the user to ‘drive’ the lift and feel in total control.
Weight Limit Sensors: The Trio Alta home lift is limited to 500lbs. The lift detects anything exceeding this limit and will not travel.
Out Of Balance Sensors: Sensors will detect if the lift is ever out of balance and prevent the unit from travelling.
Fall Arrest Mechanism: This patented system prevents the car from falling in the unlikely event of the steel ropes going slack.

Cat is extremely helpful at conceptualizing not only how accessibility needs to meet the current moment but also what to think about for the future in the likely case of a decline in a person’s physical mobility. She is very thoughtful in how she communicates with clients and she meets people where they are at – especially because it is an emotional process in terms of accepting one’s own physical limitations and the need for change in the home environment to support that. She thinks of everything including the angle of the mirror on the wall, the type of tile to use on the floor, the specific location of grab bars, and every other minute detail that would otherwise be lost in our design. She has provided valuable input for our project.
