The Stiltz Trio

Stiltz Trio Alta is the new, spacious and luxurious wheelchair-accessible homelift designed to carry a full-sized wheelchair or three people. The combination of style and luxury has been perfectly balanced and the homelift has clear sides which enables it to blend seamlessly into your home and to make it even less intrusive the rails are cleverly and discreetly recessed behind the slightly wider entrance/exit.

The Stiltz Trio Thru Car allows users to enter and exit from both sides of the car. This is made possible by the unique Stiltz dual rail technology. There is no other wheelchair homelift of this kind on the market that is capable of different entry and exit points on different floors.

Safety Features

Half Height Light Curtain: An obstruction sensor is situated at the entrance of our lift. If this barrier is crossed at any time, the lift will immediately stop.
Safety Lid Cover: This crucial feature covers the aperture in the floor when the lift is in the downstairs position. It is strong enough to stand on, and you can place your original flooring on top to blend in.
Key Switch Operation: This feature allows the owner to lock out the lift if the need arises. This is commonly used when going away on holiday or when the grandchildren are around.
Top & Bottom Safety Pans: Using our obstruction sensors, a Stiltz lift can detect objects above or below the lift, causing it to immediately stop.
Hold-To-Run Controls: Operating a Stiltz Lift requires constant pressure to the controls. This allows the user to ‘drive’ the lift and feel in total control.
Weight Limit Sensors: The Trio Alta home lift is limited to 500lbs. The lift detects anything exceeding this limit and will not travel.
Out Of Balance Sensors: Sensors will detect if the lift is ever out of balance and prevent the unit from travelling.
Fall Arrest Mechanism: This patented system prevents the car from falling in the unlikely event of the steel ropes going slack.

How much space does a Stiltz Home Lift require?

Surprisingly little. Because the Stiltz lift travels on dual rails that are self-supporting, it has a footprint of less than 7 square feet. It can be installed in a corner, in a cupboard, or through a stairwell void, preserving your home’s usable living space.

What happens if the power goes out?

Your safety is the priority. Every Stiltz lift is equipped with a battery backup system. In the event of a power outage, the lift will seamlessly switch to battery power, allowing you to descend safely to the lower level.

Is it noisy?

No. The Stiltz lift uses a self-contained electric drive motor that is incredibly quiet. There are no noisy hydraulics or vacuum pumps, making it one of the quietest home elevators on the market.
