  • What if my mobility changes later?

    If future changes in balance strength or endurance are expected the Trio model provides room for walkers rollators or wheelchairs. We help you choose the right option now so you do not outgrow it later.

  • Will it fit in my home without major construction?

    In most cases yes. A Stiltz homelift does not require a shaft pit or machine room which allows it to fit into many different home layouts.

    Your OT will assess your home and layout so you know exactly where a lift could go and whether it will fit comfortably and safely.

  • Is it safe to use when I am alone?

    Suitability for independent use depends on your mobility, abilities and the selected model. We review the controls, safety features and operating instructions with you; no lift eliminates every risk.

  • Does it work if the power goes out?

    We will review the selected model's backup-lowering features and power-outage procedure with you. Follow the current manufacturer instructions and agreed emergency plan; do not assume normal operation continues without power.

  • Is it difficult to operate?

    No. If you can press and hold a single button you can use the lift. The controls are designed to be easy to reach and gentle on hands with arthritis or limited grip strength.

  • Will it make my home look too institutional?
